Great place. Actually recommended to me by the owner of the previous company locating this spot (Accurate Auto Repair). Took my car into a dealership recently thinking I had some clutch issues. Dealership had a tech drive the car and said, yep you need to have your clutch replaced Braced myself for a large repair and took my car here as I knew it would be a little bit cheaper. Owner drove the car and said no, I just think you need your clutch fluid flushed. He went ahead and did it and all of my issues are gone for 1/10th of what the dealership quoted me. Overall very appreciative.

Very friendly & professional owner & staff, & reasonable prices. (Rick) explains what needs to be done to repair your vehicle, the parts needed, the time it will take...he's very forthcoming with this info so you don't have to drag all this out of him as he's thinking up add-on issues like so many other mechanics do. I was there to make an appointment for an oil change but I asked him to listen to my car suddenly sounding louder than usual... I thought someone might have messed with my catalytic converter, but he said that it would sound much louder...he said it was an exhaust leak. Anyway I came back a few days later for my oil change appointment & asked him to please check out the exhaust leak .He gave me a fantastic(!) estimate to get it all done: So I'm sitting there waiting for my car... happened to look right outside the window after a bit...and there's my car sitting right there... didn't even hear it... quiet as *"#*! & ready to go. Made my day! He & his nice staff member who drove off into heavy traffic to get my part showed me the rusted out piece that they replaced & were explaining the issue... but I didn't hear it all clearly... I was smiling too loud.✌️😎👍

I attest to the integrity, speed, throughness, and transparency of this shop! Rick's is the trustworthiness repair shop owner and manager in town! I took two cars to him for pre-purchase maintenance inspection/check to verify the value of the used vehicles. He gave an honest assessment, only after two different repair shop men (including one owner) tried to sell us an alternative vehicle to those we were viewing, both of which they assessed to be "lemons" and supposedly "not safe." Rick and his staff were not only incredibly fast and kind/generous with their time, but they did not try to sell us another vehicle. Rick also pulled up the CarMax report for the cars on his own volition to get a better picture for his analysis—not requested nor for an extra cost on us. Not even the car shop dealer had the CarMax on one of the vehicles! Talk about doing a thorough job. I will never go anywhere else for my repairs and car inspections, but Rick's! Thanks again, Rick and team. Buen trabajo!

Needed air in my tire... ended up needing air in all the tires!! The people were so nice and didn't charge me.. much respect!!

I heard a sound back near my rear brakes and since my car is ten years old I thought I might need new shocks and struts. I also needed an oil change. Took it in and dropped it off. They could have sold me a ton of stuff I didn't need but I picked up the car and all it needed was an oil change for now. They told me I would need 2 front tires for winter this year and new pads during the next oil change. They also put air in all my tires. I'm not from Connecticut so I am glad I found an honest mechanic.

I had an emergency engine issue and Rick’s auto center was the nearest shop, so I stopped in. Rick and his team could not have been nicer or more professional. Not only did they take care of my engine, but they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable while I waited. Thank you for Rick and team for making a stressful car experience much more pleasant!

After going to Rick's for a couple of times now, they honestly do great work and work with you to understand the needs for you car, without "creating problems" to fix. We have tried a few shops like this around town, liked them all but eventually felt like we weren't getting the maintenance our car needed. After seeing the reviews for Rick's and the classic Word of Mouth about them, we decided to check them out this year. We are very happy with their customer service and maintenance on our car as well.
